The Electric Underground Website is Back!

For long time fans of the Electric Underground, everyone will remember the old days where I also had a website for the channel. It is archived right here: https://web.archive.org/web/20201220111832/http://electricunderground.io/
However, because I was unable to and not interested in paying for the site's fairly expensive hosting fees, I eventually lost the domain ha. But now we are back and on a platform that does not have hosting fees! I've also learned a thing or two since those days and I'm excited to create and share more web-based content.
So welcome back everyone! The Electric Underground - Home of Shoot Em Ups (and other Arcade Genres) has returned :-)
Watched your video "The Danger of Psychology-Based Design | Deep Cut Video Series" and had these thoughts on it:
That Freud was a weird pervert and only really matches up with the story aspect of games & other art. Jung takes everything redeemable from him and improves and adds his own things. I am also unaware of either talking about self-expression. Things more compatible with video games is stuff like Maslow's hierarchy of needs, the esteem need of being really good at something; or Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi's Flow Theory describing the "in the zone" feeling. Probably are things in neuroscience about the relationship being adrenaline and experiences that could be applicable to shmups and similar games.
